Rain fails to dampen Mariah Carey's fans' spirits
Storm clouds opened up in the skies above Stadium Merdeka Wednesday night, as R&B diva Mariah Carey performed here for the first time in a decade. The singer, who first performed in Malaysia back in 2004, took to the stage at around 9.15pm Wenesday night. Fans got to hear crowd favourites such as Fantasy, My All and Hero.
Carey was in Kuala Lumpur as part of the Asian leg of her "The Elusive Chanteuse Show" tour, to promote her latest studio release Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse. The concert was organised by IME Productions and supported by Malaysia Major Events, an agency under the Tourism and Culture Ministry. (The Star Online)
