Janet doesn't want to take a backseat to Mariah

Industry insiders say Janet Jackson isn't pleased with the deal that Mariah Carey recently signed with Virgin Records. With the new deal, Carey will make about $23.5 million per album, while Jackson only makes $10 million per album. In addition, Jackson might be worried that her new album, "All For You" - scheduled for release on Tuesday (April 24) - will not have the support of the Virgin Records publicity-and-promotional team for the full four months necessary for the album to have its best impact since Carey's new album, "All That Glitters," is scheduled for release this summer. Paul Freundlich, a Jackson representative, denied the allegations when asked by the New York Post, "This is absolutely the silliest thing I ever heard. Janet has the Number One single and is poised for one of the biggest albums of the year. She certainly has no animosity."

"All For You" was produced by longtime Jackson collaborators Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, with additional production by Rockwilder. Some of the songs on the new album include "Someone To Call My Lover", "New Beginning", "Come On Get Up", "Trust A Try", "Doesn't Really Matter" and "When We Ooh".
