Mariah Carey has never been scared of swapping a leg over for a leg up - after all, her first husband, Tommy Mottola, just happened to be the boss of Sony Records. And she is up to her old tricks again, according to the Enquirer, this time putting the moves on P Diddy. "Mariah was gushing all over Puffy," an eyewitness to their meeting at a party at New York's Roseland Ballroom tells the Enquirer. "He gave her a peck on the cheek, but she couldn't keep her hands off him."
It's not quite what the "up-close and personal" pictures accompanying the story suggest, but the Enquirer can at least back up its story with the testimony of unnamed sources. And one of them has no doubt about Mariah's motivation. "She's sick with worry about her career," he or she says - and thinks Puffy can make a new woman out of her. A couple of months ago, before she checked into an exclusive fat farm - he could have made about five new women out of her. (Anorak)
