Dolphins fin-tastic for Mariah
American singer Mariah Carey reportedly refused to emerge from her jet on arrival in Singapore until she was assured of a private swim with the pink dolphins at a theme park. Although the island state's Underwater World is not opening its Dolphin Lagoon to the public until March 31, Carey would not disembark from her flight on Sunday until it was confirmed she could frolic with the dolphins.
Carey, 29, emerged from her hotel with a robe covering a grey-and-red bikini with matching pumps and careful make-up. "They won't arrest me for wearing this, will they?" she was quoted as asking. She said it was the second time she had swum with dolphins; the first was in Perth, Australia, two years ago. Carey performed at a concert last night and leaves today. (The South China Morning Post)
