Mariah's speech at Lady of Soul Awards
Here's Mariah's pre-taped acceptance speech for winning Best R&B/Soul Single, Solo for "We Belong Together" at the 10th Annual Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards. During the show, taped on September 7th, 2005, Mariah also won the award for Best R&B/Soul Album, Solo for "The Emancipation of Mimi". Thank you so much everybody. I am so grateful to be receiving this award. Most of all, obviously as always, thank you so much to God for allowing me to... just the grace of God is the only reason that I'm here today and I'm grateful, so grateful to be here.

Thank you Mark Sudack, thank you to everybody in my management situation. Everybody, all my friends and loved ones and just really... I don't...
