Mariah's revealing dresses
Maybe she only one one of the four awards she was nominated for, but Mariah Carey was definately the talk of the evening. She sang the opening number "Don't Forget About Us" at the American Music Awards wearing a tight silver sequined spaghetti-strap dress with a slit to the waist. An observer at EUR Web quipped, "One wrong move and she could've had a Janet Jackson moment."
Right afterwards, she made a super-speedy change; emerging with a black dress that had a revealing slit up the middle of her chest. She made the change just in time to accept her award for favorite female artist in the Soul/R & B category. She said, "thank you so much for the warmth and love."
Carey's appearance at the awards is the latest milestone in her amazing career comeback. Just four years ago her record label paid her $28 million to get out of its contract with her. Her latest album has been one of the year's top sellers. (Fox 23)
