Backstage at the Radio Music Awards
'Tis the season for some merry music. Mariah Carey continued her reign as pop queen of 2005 Monday night in Las Vegas, as she joined stars like Ricky Martin, Snoop Dogg, Ciara, Keith Urban and many more to celebrate the 2005 Radio Music Awards - and ET's Kevin Frazier was there exclusively backstage.
The show honors the best artists and songs of the year (based on Mediabase stats, the leading source for tracking airplay). Mariah's "We Belong Together" won Song of the Year on Mainstream Hit Radio and Urban Rhythmic Radio; the pop diva also won the Radio Legend Award. Mariah told Kevin she nearly missed the whole event, as she had to fly in from Paris.
"I was in Paris less than I don't know how many hours ago - and I was trying to get here and was rushing. I am infamous for having a little wardrobe malfunction but we got it together." (ETonline)
