Lovers & haters
|  | | Kali Hawk | | On September 16, 2007 production company 40 Acres & A Mule Filmworks will release a short comedy, called "Lovers & haters", according to IMDB. This movie spoof tells the life of Mariah Carey, with the lovers and haters that she encounters along the way, and how she overcomes those haters and obstacles to still be one of the most talented and loved musical sensations in history.
The movie is directed by Spike Lee and is just 15 minutes longs. Mariah and Benny Medina are the executive producers, and is starring Kali Hawk. On her website she says, "Recently I came to LA and am now working on films. After a few days I landed a small role in the BMW Film Festival hit 'Issues' playing a waitress opposite Todd Bridges (Diff'rent Strokes). My best job so far was working with Spike Lee and Mariah Carey on the comedy short 'Lovers & Haters'."
