Mariah Carey stays with Universal
Mariah Carey, who could soon tie Elvis Presley with 18 No. 1 singles, has renewed her worldwide publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group. The company will continue to publish Carey's catalog and future works for the world. Announcement arrives just two weeks prior to the release of her album "E=MC2". Carey has co-written all of the songs on the new album.
Album's first single, "Touch My Body", debuted at radio Feb. 12, but only became available as a digital download last week. (Variety)
