Mariah showered with diamonds after Turkey concert
Mariah Carey landed more than just a big pay cheque for a private gig in Turkey at the weekend - she was also showered with diamond gifts. The Hero hitmaker was paid a staggering $1.5 million (£1 million) for a one-off performance at the launch of the Mardan Palace in Antalya - Europe's most expensive luxury resort - on Saturday.
But she walked away with much more than expected - according to the New York Post's PageSix gossip column, Carey was gifted millions more in sparkling jewels, including a huge five-carat diamond ring in the shape of her signature butterfly. (Contactmusic)
