Too much luggage to Carey?
Maybe Mariah Carey is cooling on her latest beau. Oscar buzz has it that the songbird's man, Latin crooner Luis Miguel, was dressed in his tux and ready to accompany Carey to the Academy Awards, but she stood him up. "She never picked him up," claims a source.
A friend of Carey insists Luis Miguel had no plans to be her date that night. She ended up going to the ceremony with her manager and agent, who were eager for her to meet movie producers. Carey and Miguel did meet the next day and spent much of last week together in L.A. Asked if they were a couple, the friend said, "It's something, definitely something." (New York Daily News)
