Body figure (55,679) by Carol from Spain Mariah's body always fluctuated. Her metabolism works like that. She needs constant physical training and rigorous diet to keep in shape. But honestly why is that so important to some people? As long as her weight isn't causing any damage to her I couldn't care less. Besides she looks good to me. New music and past era (55,678) by Carol from Spain Everyone is so concerned with JB appearing on the photo and her new music. Well why are you so worried? We know nothing about the song (or songs) and we should be happy she is in the studio again. If I could suggest something, I wish Mariah would do a ballad next. Forget the club bangers, forget the cute lyrics, I want a tear dropping tune, with a strong lyrics. And she is happy with James, so why not ? Can't wait for this new era and, despite all the drama surrounding MC this last year, I loved MIAM and I totally understand why she didnt promote. I accept the outcome but I wouldn't call it a flop cause for me, it's one of her best works and in time I'm sure people will understand how majestic this album is. Hollywood Walk of Fame (55,677) by Carol from Spain Tomorrow it's August 5, it's the day she gets her so awaited and well deserved star in Hollywood. I don't care it took 25 years, I only pay attention to the fact that she is getting it. Am I the only one who wonders about the wardrobe choice for tomorrow? Aghhh to Wendy Williams (55,115) by Carol from Spain I really took some time before saying something about it but let's just have a reality check and admit that Wendy Williams has a beef of some sort with Mariah. (Yes I know we know that for a long time) I think talk show hosts should be punished for making such bad comments about people, famous or not, because when the comments go over the edge of ridicule it's just that bad. Wendy's comments on Mariah's sex life just made me wanna puke. It's hard to conceive someone would pay that human being to go that low. I hope, eventually, in my lifetime, I see Mariah give her the answer she deserves for years of abuse and insults. (Wednesday 8 July 2015; 0:55)

Mariah's fans are no lambs anymore (50,946) by Carol from Spain I find it interesting how everyone is an expert on how Mariah should be. I take some time to comment here because it's hard to deal with all this negativity. You people dare to say Mariah sould look differently, should sound differently, should live like this and like that. For one of you in particulary what Mariah did was already outdone by others, she lost her spark. You criticize when she falls, when she wears gowns, when she wears heels, when she goes off key, when she is on key, when she goes to the park with her kids, when she doesn't promote or, if she promotes she didn't do it the way you'd like to see. What I think is : the only page/forum/group I visit where all this overlayered criticism happens is here on MCA. This happens because it's allowed due to freedom of speech and right to an opinion and so on. I dare many of you to go on a Mariah page on facebook and Twitter to post all that negativity. People forget playback exists long before Mariah came into te industry but seem to only see her use it. People forget Mariah went where no one ever went but they are always so eager to break her records. People just forget all your negativity may affect her but that doesn't mean she'll listen to you because she is a woman who owns her life and always will do what she wants, despite your hate. I'm sorry for the ones who are stoping to love Mariah because you'll never find another one like MC. It's truly disappointing to come to this messageboard and see all the quitters mixed with the believers. You never respected Mariah at all and I'm sure you forgot why you became a fan. Have faith (49,648) by Carol from Spain I'm tired. Tired of all the negativity around Mariah. No one gives her a break for anything. Her performance was very good, despite the Fantsy debacle but everyone just focus on the bad. She's a target and I believe there are millions waiting for her to fail in Vegas. That is why I know she will be amazingly in her residency. People try to find a way to blame her for everything when she's not responsible for half of what happens onstage: the light, the sound. There are others who clearly failed but it's easier to blame the superstar. It's amazing to me how everyone seems to know what Mariah needs, people tweet her and facebook her everyday with advices of what she needs but she keeps ignoring them. Maybe because she doesn't care and she's a grown woman. She can take care of herself. I would love to see her own fanbase believe a bit more in her. Just believe. (Monday 2 February 2015; 22:13)

Mariah's momentum (49,435) by Carol from Spain Mariah didn't lose focus, she just shifted her priorities to her kids and husband - a husband that apparently didn't do the same thing. I'm over Nick and I think he's just a fame catcher that likes to live the LA life, meaning he likes to get as many women as he can in his bed so he can brag about it. Mariah faced this marriage with her head up and I strongly suspect she dealt with so much bs from Nick because, at heart, he is a child. After everything she went through last year, I think MC will re-group and come back on top. Either way, I believe Mariah released an amazing album and she has nothing to be ashamed. Delusional (48,404) by Carol from Spain A lot has been said about being delusional and here are my 2 cents about it: it's ok not to agree with everything she does. We shouldn't be complacent, but it's not ok to judge her by calling yourself fans and after that criticize everything she does. That's not cool at all. Musically you should always expect the best, because Mariah never delivers anything less. And when she doesn't reach the top of the charts don't bother simply because its the fans' fault. She releases and you should buy it, but you don't so things happen. For me, you become delusional when you compare her voice to 20 years ago or when you compare her positions on the charts to 20 years ago. No one can mantain herself on top that long and expect for things to continue forever. Mariah should be able to relax now and I don't think her own fans are making it easier for her because you're always on the woman's case for every single little thing. Rockefeller 2014 (48,403) by Carol from Spain Mariah's NY performance was very good. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than the one she gave last year in that cute white ensemble. People in general are the problem because they got that 20 year old version stuck in their heads (and that's ok) and they forget that live it's awhole different story, addind to that the fact the song is being sung 20 years after. People expect too much of Mariah and that is fine but be realistic because no one maintains their voice the same forever. Besides that, Mariah was sick I believe. (Monday 8 December 2014; 11:57)

Ranting over (48,273) by Carol from Spain Ranting: I'm trying not to get envolved into all this negativity towards Mariah (forgive my poor English, in advance). Mariah in 1990 came out with that flawless voice and every critic at the time called her a fabrication. She released Emotions in 19911 without touring and she was even more accused of being a studio voice. Still, with no touring, Mariah earned two Grammys and pretty much every award there was. In 92 she just did something pretty smple called Unplugged and, after that, the critics had nothing to say but to praise her and stuff. Where am I going with this? Well, my point is: Mariah is 44 years old, she's older and, like everyone else, she ages. Fact. This whole bashing thing is just the way media works. Personally? They deserve to be sued for false accusations and the guy/girl/little person who leaked the audio should be fired and never hired again by anyone. It shows how unprofessional the TV backstage thing became. Don't they sign some sort of contract to prevent the leak of these things? Mariah has done so much for the industry, went to places no one thought she could go, doesn't she deserve respect? The performance wasn't good as I would expect but please was that bad? Really? She missed a few notes under the freezing cold. On the other hand Lady Gaga sounded like a strangled goat and I don't see the backlash of it. As a fan, this makes me extremly sad. I'm sorry for the fans who waited hours for her, I understand. But instead, fans earned a live performance tonight. People pick apart everything she does because it's simpler. I don't think US appreciates Mariah anymore. You guys preach but you don't walk the walk. I'm sorry for being blunt but like I said Big Jim is right. Promote, support more if you want the tour. Besides, the lack of faith you're showing doesn't help. America seems to forget she has nothing to prove and she just enjoy her achievements and this tour for the fans. America demands too much of her and give credit to weaker arists. Funny how you guys ask for new material, when you don't support anything she does. Big Jim warns the US lambily, I agree (47,801) by Carol from Spain Big Jim's tweet about warning the lambs about the US tour is right on. US lambily didn't respond to the record, it's true. Honestly, they failed and didn't care and now they want Mariah to tour. I know many fans bought the album, several copies and stuff but she can't tour the US with just 125,000 albums sold. It''s not right. Maybe I'm wrong. Please don't bash me for being saying my mind. I honestly don't know what to think about it. I just think Big Jim is spot on with that tweet. Natalia who? (47,800) by Carol from Spain That Natalie girl is trying to make a name for herself at any cost and nothing speaks fame like involving Mariah's name into a contorversy. Obviously Mariah didn't even know she was on and the support acts are chosen by the label. It's quite sad Australian media give this girl any credit. The interesting part is that Mariah fans go to her page to comment on her posts and she deletes our comments, allowing her followers to praise her as the loser she is. I don't doubt the girl can sing (simply because I never heard her and now I'm not interested) but why does she think she's a competition for Mariah? What bothers me is the cinicism of it all: she did this but she was awsome and she is still the best blah blah blah. Uh you're thirsty?
