I remember when I was five years old and the Rainbow album came out, this was the first time I heard Mariah Carey, 'Heartbreaker' played on the radio and I couldn't resist falling in love. Needless to say, that moment was a catalyst for me to become part of the Lambily and worship the Queen, the Diva, the Song bird Supreme, Mariah Carey!

The Elusive Chanteuse (43,088) by ACMRitz from United States I love the cover of the both the deluxe and the regular editions, although the deluxe version really does slay. If anyone noticed, the differences between both versions, beside the covers, are three added songs: The Art Of Letting Go, It's A Wrap (ft. Mary J. Blige) and Betcha Gon' Know (ft R. Kelly). The last two being I suppose remixes from MOAIA. I absolutely loved those songs. Can anyone tell that I am beyond excited. (Thursday 1 May 2014; 6:01)

Joy Ride (43,012) by ACMRitz from United States What if all this confusion and contradiction is simply fuel to the surprise element? Everyone is trying to stir up confusion so that no one really expects when the album comes out. (I am not saying it's the wisest strategy.) I don't want to directly answer to anyone but I don't think we should rush Mariah to put an album out at our convenience, so what if she takes 1 or 5 or 10 years? She can release it when she feels it's ready (as long as it's allowed on the contract). As someone else said, at least she didn't have us cold turkey for all this time without new music. She's given us samples, whether you liked them or not. I honestly cannot wait for the release of this new album, I check this website everyday along with twitter for any updates. TAOLG artwork (42,866) by ACMRitz from United States I know this is totally unrelated and what not, but I was looking at the artwork for TAOLG and kinda noticed the resemblance between the visual qualities (the heavy photoshopping on the face) of TAOLG and TEOM photo shoot. I never really heard anything about a photo shoot Mimi did for TAOLG, so do you think they could have used an unreleased pic from TEOM for this artwork? Twitter update (42,678) by ACMRitz from United States Jermaine just posted this to twitter: "5:30 am yesterday morning untill 5:40 am this morning with Mariah Carey" and this photo in the studio. I can't believe they are still working on the album. Is it perfectly normal to be working on an album so near to its release date? Makes me wonder what will happen regarding production and shipping of CDs. Maybe it will just be a digital release on May 6th. Anyway I am beyond looking forward to it. Long time viewer, first post (42,580) by ACMRitz from United States First of all, I am glad to say that this is my first post on this message board. I have been coming to this site for years and I am glad to have finally taken the initiative and joined. I hope to fit in well among the rest of the Lambily. However, I want to comment on the upcoming album. Words cannot explain the excitement I feel in anticipation to the album. I am sure even if it does not chart well, which I doubt it won't, it will be a gem among those who appreciate good music and more importantly MC. I have been pondering the title of the album in my daydreaming and although it is very likely to include something related to a "journey", wouldn't it be funny if the title were "TBA", as in the rest of her life is "to be announced". I kind of like it, and it would certainly be more modern. (Friday 11 April 2014; 1:53)
