About Robert-Anthony from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

More Taylor (106,312) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Maybe tomorrow we can get back to MC. I was thinking today that MC could release anything this year to satisfy me. She could release the Rarities II, a remix album from 2003-2018, or the Butterfly Lounge. I would be happy with a surprise duet with Lucky Daye this fall. I messaged him and MC on X yesterday about when a collaboration was coming and he liked my post. Sounds promising, right?

The real love story (106,309) by Robert-Anthony from United States
When I think of adding songs from E=MC2 to my workout playlist, I always add Love Story and Thanx 4 Nothin. To me those rwo songs make you understand what the Atlanta sound is.

Why is there no JD on Butterfly? (106,305) by Robert-Anthony from United States
We know why there is no JD on Glitter and Memoirs. But why didn't MC record any tracks with JD for Butterfly. Was she exclusively seeking a New York hip hop and rap sound that only New York and East coast producers could only have given her? Was she paying homage to her home city with the Butterfly album? Maybe that is what she needs to do for MC16 is to focus on a New York sound with a live band. Go back Proctor's Theater and SNL to promote the album.

Will the Mariah Carey story ever be told? (106,300) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I hope MC allows her story to be told for the big screen. Her story needs to be told with all the good, bad, and ugly. The opening song should be Vision of Love. The emotional moment song should be My Saving Grace. The redemption song should be We Belong Together. The closing song should be Fly Like A Bird. Hopefully, it will happen in the next 10 years.

MC and Big Jim Wright (106,299) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I really think Big Jim Wright helped MC tap into a side of her soulful writing ability that we had never seen before prior to 2005. Songs like Circles, I Wish You Knew, Cry., Camouflage, and FLAB are some of MC's most soulful songs. Have you ever listened Cry. and Camouflage back to back? There is a sad love story told about the break-up Mariah's and Nick's marriage in those two gems. These two gems remind me of 70's R&B band L.T.D.'s Love Ballad and Where Did We Go Wrong? I love all of the vocal flaws in Circles. I Wish You Knew reminds me of why MC's writing skills are impeccable. FLAB reminds me growing up in a Baptist church when the choir director tells the musicians to cut the music because he knows that the song leader is about to take the church "there".

A Daydream release in 2024 (106,293) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I guess should agree and join you Shezz and Mimi. Listening to You're Mine, Triumphant remixes and some JD remixes made think that MC has really had marvelous career. What more does she really have to prove she is the G.O.A.T.?

A Daydream release in 2024 (106,287) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Something deep down inside of me wants that new album experience again. You know when we hear MC has a new album coming out and all of the excitement that goes along with it. I just need to experience that one more time. MC settled into her legend status way too soon for me.

A Daydream release in 2024 (106,284) by Robert-Anthony from United States
It has been a great discussion this week about Taylor and insight into this whole Swifty phenonenon. We can't deny Taylor is riding high off roads paved from our true trailblazer and trendsetter MC. I am really ready for Mimi to comeback one last time with her most successful album since TEOM. I know she has at least one more left in her. Where are you Mike Will Made It? Mimi needs you again.

MC just needs to release a fire album to get recognized by the music industry. She doesn't write the brilliant songs like she used too. If she would find songwriting partners like Madicin (Kenny Lattimore) or Daryl Simmons (Never Forget You) and write some R&B slow jams and love songs, then she would get back on top of the charts. What is it going to take for MC to get back to those brilliant songs?

A Daydream release in 2024 (106,272) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Possibly. But there is not another up and coming female pop artist who can take her place right now. I think she has at least 10 more years of a popularity high. Don't let her star in a major movie with a hit soundtrack. That would add five more years. Lol.

Not surprised (106,264) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Mary J. Blige has had a lot of high profile pop duets during her 30 years in the music business. Mary's duets with U2, George Michael, Sting, Elton John, Santana, Ray Charles, Maroon 5, Rod Stewart, Andre Bocelli, and Quincy Jones have broaden her appeal to the music industry executives as a whole. I think the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame committee looks at that too. That is what MC's career has lacked.

A Daydream release in 2024 (106,259) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I often wonder how a Daydream album would sell in 2024 if it was released in 2024. Would it sell a million copies plus during in its first week and break Spotify records? Would Fantasy, One Sweet Day and ABMB break streaming and iTunes records? I picked Daydream because that is when MC's career went into overdrive and her popularity increased. Tortured Poets Department seems to be Taylor Swift's Daydream. Her popularity is so high right now. She could release a David Guetta and Zedd TPD remix album in the Fall and it would sell 1.2 million plus copies too.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (106,257) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Lol. I probably should have saved my regular closing emoji for that post. I am just wondering if there is a group of music industry heads who have it out to deny MC of these huge music accomplishments like Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Hot 100 airplay and the Grammys. I won't mention his name though. You know the one who went back to the party looking for MC.

The Celebration completely 100% sold out (106,246) by Robert-Anthony from United States
The audience is having fun alone with MC. She brought out Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks last night. It is funny her first few shows are always rocky and then the rest of them are spot on. I think her perception of how the audience will react to her really causes MC a little anxiety during the first few shows. I am glad her shows are selling out.

TEOM concerts (106,244) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Videos from 4/20 really proves MC is singing live 98% of the time. Her voice has really improved from this time last year. And her tone now is so beautiful with warm and smoothing tones. I hope she gets an album out soon.

Thank you, Shezz. I am going to try to keep hope alive. I hope we will see some type of new release this year. Until then, I am ready for a summer vacation. I have eight more weeks until I can get a break.

Hard truths (106,224) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I truly feel MC never had that "Wow" stage presence. She just wasn't groomed and polished that way. Early performances show MC whose whole stage presence materialized for the audience to focus only on how she used her voice. Tommy never allowed that "Wow" performer element to materialized for MC like singers we would say had that "Wow" stage presence early on during their careers. Singers like Michael Jackson, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Prince, Teddy Pendergrass, Usher and Fantasia. These artists could give you a show that you walked away from the venue thinking on the way home, "Wow."

A 2am surprise (106,221) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Has MC ever given the Lambily something like a 2 a.m. surprise on a release day? Taylor Swift is a marketing genius. She knows how to keep her fans excited and broke at the same time. Lol. I guess this is just a different time of Friday release days and using the digital music boom for an artist's advantage. A Tuesday release day unannounced double album would not have had the same effect in 1995. Some record store clerk would have spoiled Taylor's surprise. Oh well, she will dominate the Grammys again next year.
